Note: this is a long document of the CCP re-writing its history. You are welcome to read the whole document, but most important are the pieces underlined in green on page 1, 14-27.
Requirements: please don’t use outside resources, you will write a reaction to one of the assigned readings of no more than 500 words. You can pick one assigned reading or multiple chapters/articles together. In each assignment, you should:
- Identify the primary argument of the reading.
- Evaluate the type of evidence the argument is based on. Explain it and assess strengths and weaknesses of it.
- Describe your reaction to the piece in question. How does this reading fit into the readings for this week? Did the reading present information or a perspective you are not familiar with? Do you agree or disagree with the author? What did you find interesting about the reading?
