Note: You may want to build on what you wrote in your week #5 discussion response. If you do, please make sure your paper is written in essay format with an introduction, body and conclusion.

- Regardless of whether you expected them or not, how do you feel about your IAT results?
- How do implicit/unconscious biases impact individuals in everyday life (be specific)?
- What is the connection between implicit bias and microaggressions and how do they lead to the mistreatment and/or discrimination against non-dominant groups (inequity).
- What biases do you carry and how can you combat them? This may be a difficult question to respond to as many of our biases are out of our awareness but I encourage you to think about how, when and if you have treated people differently based on race, class, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
- Why is implicit/unconscious bias important in the context of working in a helping profession?
You are required to use at least three sources for your paper. You must cite using APA (or MLA). Failure to support information in your paper with citations will result in loss of points. Papers should include both a title and reference page (not included in page count).
