Option 1 – Who is Responsible for Corruption?
We have read about corruption in various countries around the world, including some of the poorest states, that can ill afford the loss of resources. The material we’ve reviewed also highlighted the role of some international businesses in facilitating corruption in markets where they operate. In this post, I would like you to identify what/who you think is primarily responsible for corruption in developing markets. Your answer should reflect information in our readings and any additional research you choose to do. You do not need to identify specific companies/individuals, but rather the primary source of corruption in general (understanding that every case will have unique elements). Be sure to cite your sources using the APA style.
Option 2 – COVID and Business Ethics:
The COVID-19 pandemic caused extensive disruptions to societies and businesses worldwide. The impacts of these disruptions are likely to be felt for years to come. In this discussion you will identify 2-3 ethical challenges business faced, or are facing, due to the pandemic. You can use examples from the US and/or any global market. Remember, these should be ethical challenges, rather than operational or financial issues. Your response should indicate whether businesses used Kantian, Utilitarian or other approaches to ethical reasoning in their reactions to the challenges. Be sure to cite your sources using the APA style.
