Activity 6: Duties of Communities and Schools (100 points)
Your Activity responses should be both grammatically and mechanically correct and formatted in the same fashion as the Activity itself. If there is a Part A, your response should identify a Part A, etc. In addition, you must appropriately cite all resources used in your response and document them in a bibliography using APA style. (100 points) (A 4-page response is required.)
- Based on what you’ve learned in this course, explain the social ecology of crime theory.
- Assume that several sets of parents in a community are failing to be good examples for their children. They sell illicit drugs and one parent or the other is incarcerated. Lay out a plan of action for the community and schools to take that arguably can counteract the negative influences the children of these parents are experiencing in their homes.
- Locate two (2) scholarly articles that support your plan. Address the gaps in the research.
